On Monday April 13th eight CBE schools came together in a celebration of music for the 11th annual Orff The Wall concert at the Jack Singer. It has been a longstanding tradition for our grade 4 students and they look forward to this event all year long! It is not every day that you get to perform in such a beautiful venue to a sold out audience! The opening number brought tears to many eyes as all eight schools came together to sing This is my Song. They sounded beautiful. Have a listen.
Douglasdale grade 4 students, under the direction of our wonderful music specialist Mr. Anderson, wowed the audience with an energetic display of music, song, and dance. Their piece was titled Viva La Musica. Here is a short video clip.
Congratulations Mr. Anderson and DDS grade 4 on an outstanding Orff concert. We are certain that it will be an evening that you will remember for the rest of your lives.
